The 2012 Southeast Regional Champinship Season kicks off on February 24th at Aonia Pass MX, Washington, GA. The Aonia MX Circut, it is a natural terrain, grass-covered track and a nice place for a gentle start to the season. The pit area is large with electrical, water, and sewer hook-ups ($25.00 per day) for campers. Flushed toilets and showers are also available should the need to use them arise.

In addition to vintage and post-vintage motocross, the day’s activities include trials, cross country, TT, and short track. Coming as it does two weeks before the Gatorback national event, it’s a great opportunity to get some seat time and blow off the winter cobwebs with some very friendly people.

STILL NEEDED!

Following the death of John Astleford in early 2011, Leo Stinnett stepped in to fill the roll as the Southeast Region Trials Coordinator. Leo is unable to continue in the roll in 2012 and we therefore need someone, preferably a trials rider, to take over the position. Any member interested in volunterring their services should contact Mike Taylor (803-237-9163) who can fill you in on what has been done thus far for the coming season.
